To mark World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10th October, as well as National Work Life Week from 12th-16th October, we decided it was time to introduce our Mental Health First Aiders.
All of our MHFAs are trained and equipped to help Spirit employees with any concerns they may be facing. It’s great to know that extra support is available to all, especially during such a difficult and uncertain time.
First up is Kate, who became a Mental Health First Aider this year to better support her colleagues through lockdown, and beyond!
Next is Laura, who became a Mental Health First Aider to lend a friendly ear to others, knowing just how important talking things through can be.
Then we have Nikki, who has been able to draw on her own experiences to help others and provide reassurance when they’re not feeling ok, and makes a fabulous addition to our Mental Health First Aider team.
We also have Freya, who became a Mental Health First Aider to help provide more support to others in the workplace, creating a relaxed environment for colleagues to share any concerns they may have.
Up next is Hannah, who decided to become a Mental Health First Aider and use her own experiences to help others find the resources they need when they’re struggling.
And finally we have Jaya, who became a Mental Health First Aider to support others, creating a safe space where people feel they can share issues without worrying about judgement.
A huge thank you to all of our Mental Health First Aiders for being there for us!
